Per the Odessa Planning Meeting (12/2023), Odessa will be a 3.2 release and therefore backwardly compatible with Minnesota 3.0 and Napa 3.1. Napa will remain the an LTS version, supported until November 2025.

Update: The EdgeX TSC is also currently considering the availability of the following in the Odessa release
- PostgresSQL as an alternative to RedisDB
- Redis being replaced by Valkey (LF supported fork of Redis)
- New time-based scheduler service
- Device discovery feedback added to the Device Services SDK
- Support for running in Docker rootless mode
